What I'm looking for

I'm seeking Cyber Security Operations Analyst, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or Cloud Architecture opportunities where I can combine deep infrastructure expertise with modern cybersecurity operations.

I'm currently a Senior Network Security Engineer at AXA, securing Active Directory, VMware infrastructure, and enterprise security operations. I use Qualys vulnerability management, CIS hardening standards, SIEM monitoring, patch management, and risk assessment to strengthen security posture.

Across more than 25 years in IT, I've designed, secured, and supported enterprise cloud and on-premises infrastructure. My hands-on background spans Azure, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, identity protection, incident investigation, and high-availability virtualized environments.

Previously, I supported Global Payments infrastructure, including Active Directory uplift, an on-premises Exchange migration to Google Mail, VMware vCenter upgrades, vMotion, vSAN, virtual switching, disaster recovery, and high availability. At Paddy Power Betfair, I provided proactive support for virtual and physical server infrastructure while improving capacity planning, security enforcement, service management, and secure server environments.

I've also led infrastructure projects and technical teams through The IT Group, delivering upgrades and deployments for enterprise clients, and supported worldwide Active Directory upgrades for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. I'm passionate about identifying threats, automating security processes, and helping organisations become more resilient to cyberattacks.
