Hsin Buck

I am a location sound recordist and sound assistant with a decade of practical experience across feature films, TV series, commercials, variety programs, and short-form projects. I combine hands-on field mixing and location sound recording with strong production coordination skills.

My credits include work on festival-screened feature films and VR projects, and I have supported productions that premiered at major festivals. I am proficient with industry tools such as Pro Tools and Adobe Premiere and experienced operating professional audio equipment on diverse sets.

Alongside production, I am pursuing a Master’s in Film and New Media Studies in Poland, focusing on new media and game studies and integrating practical industry experience with academic research. My thesis explores postmemory and genre representation in Taiwanese and Polish video games.

I bring reliable on-set problem-solving, cross-department collaboration, and the ability to manage stressful field conditions; I also hold a manual driver’s license with experience operating 3.5-ton trucks and have multilingual abilities that support international productions.
