Hipatia Alanis

I’m an International Relations specialist with a strong foundation in communication and human interactions, and I’m known for adaptability, quick learning, and strong collaboration. I’m currently enrolled at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León–Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Relaciones Internacionales in Monterrey.

In my Purchasing & Customs Intern role at Kia México, I support procurement and trade operations by purchasing indirect materials and services, doing price negotiation with suppliers, running bidding and price analysis, and registering new suppliers. I also help with customs compliance by working with Knowledge of Customs Law and collecting, arranging, and inputting information into a database system, while evaluating new part numbers in the VAATZ system.

I bring international perspective from my experience as an International Student and my English level (B2), alongside native Spanish. I’m seeking an opportunity to apply my knowledge in a professional environment and develop skills in procurement and Workload Management in international trade.
