At Crypto.com, I lead enterprise messaging platform engineering for Kafka and AMQ, owning architecture, automation, observability, disaster recovery, and production readiness. I migrated 50+ business-critical messaging flows from Red Hat AMQ to Kafka, improving scalability and resiliency while eliminating licensing and physical-infrastructure dependency.
I've designed and automated highly available Kafka KRaft platforms across on-premises and AWS, managing 12+ clusters and building reusable Ansible tooling for provisioning, topic management, ACLs, and routine operations. I also engineered MirrorMaker 2 replication for hybrid-cloud disaster recovery, failover, and environment flip strategies.
Previously at IG Infotech, I modernized AMQ infrastructure from physical to virtual environments, delivering approximately £57K in savings while improving GC performance by about 80% and throughput by about 40%. I supported Confluent Kafka, open-source Kafka, AWS, GCP, and Confluent Cloud, including replication, upgrades, Schema Registry migrations, SLI/SLO reporting, and cost optimization.
My foundation in enterprise integration was built at Lowe's and TCS through Confluent Platform, IBM DataPower, API Connect, secure API integration, and production support.
