I've coded approximately 35 outpatient charts daily at Cornerstone Primary Care, supporting family practice and internal medicine billing through accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS code assignment in Epic EMR.

I review provider documentation, apply E/M coding, preventive medicine coding, modifier 25 and 59 guidance, and CCI/NCCI edits to identify discrepancies before submission. My coding work includes annual wellness visits, injections, laboratory services, EKGs, diagnostic procedures, and chronic and acute conditions.

Through AAPC Practicode, I completed more than 600 coding cases and removed my CPC apprentice designation. I've also developed foundational knowledge of ICD-10-PCS, DRG concepts, and inpatient coding guidelines.

I bring additional clinical laboratory experience from Baptist Healthcare System and Norton Healthcare, including specimen collection, processing, quality standards, and staff training. I maintain HIPAA compliance and use clinical documentation and medical terminology to support accurate coding.
