I am a dedicated medical coder with over a decade of experience in applying coding classification standards and guidelines to medical record documentation. My journey began in 2000 when I earned my Associate's degree in Health Information Technology from Wallace State College, where I was recognized on the Dean's List and the President's List for my academic achievements.

Since November 2013, I have been working at Imedx as an AMB Coder, where I specialize in coding for various outpatient surgeries, including GI, ophthalmology, orthopedic, urology, obstetrics, endovascular, and respiratory procedures. Prior to this, I honed my skills at Thomas Hospital, where I was responsible for assigning appropriate ICD 10, HCPCS/CPT codes for outpatient settings. My commitment to accuracy and detail ensures that I contribute effectively to the healthcare team and support optimal patient care.
