Architected a medallion payments data lakehouse using dbt, Apache Iceberg, Athena and S3, processing ISO 20022 payment events from Kafka into governed silver and gold data products. Led legacy system discovery, data mapping and domain analysis across retail and commercial banking data.

Architected and implemented a Dockerised data lakehouse integrating Spark, HDFS/S3, Hive Metastore, PostgreSQL and Apache Iceberg. Established ingestion and dbt transformation patterns supporting bronze, silver and gold data layers.
