As the Lead Data Engineer, I managed a team of 10 engineers and analysts, architecting a global enterprise data transformation project that improved efficiency and reduced costs by over £6 million annually. I integrated the Delta Lake framework and developed infrastructure for GenAI products, overseeing all stages from data ingestion to model serving.

In this role, I designed and implemented a central data warehouse platform for Reserving, significantly reducing processing time and costs. I developed ETL processes and data transformation pipelines, automating capital reporting and enhancing data accessibility.

I developed Prophet models in C++ for Transaction Payout and Longevity Swap portfolios, implementing end-to-end data pipelines and enhancing data accessibility for actuarial analysis using Azure.

During my industrial placement, I developed risk models in SAS and SQL, improving the bank’s risk assessment capabilities. I created credit risk scorecard models and engineered a dynamic consumer portfolio database, enhancing data management processes.
