What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can build reliable, high-throughput backend/platform systems with Kubernetes and AWS, improve FinOps and observability, and strengthen distributed, event-driven architectures through practical engineering ownership.

I’m a GoBackend&InfrastructureEngineer with 5+ years of experience building high-concurrency cloud platforms and optimizing distributed systems. I specialize in Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS architectures, managing high-throughput environments for 150,000+ devices with a track record of improving reliability (99.95% SLOs).

In my current role, I maintain strict 99.95% SLAs for high-traffic microservices ecosystems, achieving 70 RPS with zero unplanned downtime. I drive FinOps efficiency by cutting AWS cloud expenditures by 64% through Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure overhauls and refined autoscaling policies, while also reducing storage and operational costs via S3 lifecycle policies, DynamoDB capacity tuning, and Redis caching patterns.

I harden cloud environments with granular IAM, VPC controls, and automated vulnerability scanning, and I codify infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps practices (with automation in Python/Go). I also architect event-driven messaging with RabbitMQ to process 4M+ daily events with 99.9% fault tolerance, and I deliver observability across logs, metrics, and traces using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana/CloudWatch—plus I’ve supported major migrations through careful PoCs, detailed design docs, and canary deployments.

HP
Current

Backend Engineer & Platform Owner

Hewlett Packard

Jan 2022 - Present (4 years 3 months)

Maintained a strict 99.95% SLA for a high-traffic microservices ecosystem handling 150,000+ field devices at 70 RPS with zero unplanned downtime. Reduced AWS cloud spend by 64% ($14K to $5K monthly) by overhauling EKS infrastructure and autoscaling, while cutting database load 40% using Redis caching patterns.

HP

Software Developer Engineer

Hewlett Packard

Jan 2020 - Jan 2022 (2 years)

Designed and maintained Go microservice architectures using Clean Architecture patterns and pair programming to improve code quality and team alignment. Migrated legacy AWS Lambdas from Java to Go and then to high-availability containers, cutting execution time/latency and improving scalability while supporting reliable canary rollouts for 150,000+ field devices.

HP

R&D Firmware Engineer

Hewlett Packard

Jan 2016 - Jan 2020 (4 years)

Re-architected core connectivity modules in C++ by migrating to libuv for asynchronous I/O, improving CPU utilization with a single-thread model. Built a high-performance Wi‑Fi communication stack integrating Protocol Buffers, MQTT, and Cereal, reducing hardware costs by $15/device and modernizing the codebase for long-term cloud ingestion compatibility.

MI

R&D Firmware Engineer

Miolabs

Jan 2014 - Jan 2016 (2 years)

Engineered high-performance C/C++ firmware on the EXOS RTOS for ARM Cortex-M0 microcontrollers, enabling network connectivity for retrofitted thermal receipt printers. Developed low-level Bluetooth (nRF51) and IMU (MPU6050) drivers to achieve precise indoor localization for a smart POS solution, and implemented an optimized TCP/IP + custom DNS protocol stack for real-time telemetry.
