Supported campus sustainability initiatives by coordinating meetings, contributing to campus waste audits, and assisting with planning conservation opportunities. Wrote and edited water-conservation website and communications content and tracked sustainability data for annual reports and proposals.

Conducted a comparative life cycle assessment of bioplastic production pathways to evaluate environmental trade-offs for policy and water-quality regulation. Used OpenLCA, Excel, R, and NCBI BLASTn to collect, model, and analyze environmental data aligned with Clean Water Act and Idaho water policy priorities.

Supported community-based environmental initiatives through advocacy and outreach, including promoting community solar programs. Participated in grassroots organizing and public communication efforts, including University of Idaho Earth Day tabling.

Supported instruction in Fish Ecology and Fish Health Management, reinforcing applied knowledge of fisheries management policy and ESA-listed species habitat requirements. Managed weekly lab preparation with faculty coordination and taught/interpreted course content for undergraduate students.

Managed daily operations in a wastewater treatment research lab and performed tests on daily wastewater samples to monitor bacterial health and support environmental planning. Analyzed data and contributed to research findings evaluating alternative treatment pathways for energy conservation.

Assisted with grant application development and conducted field work including habitat assessments, fire reduction efforts, and riparian restoration using beaver dam analogs (BDAs). Developed and delivered environmental education programs, and managed a native riparian plant nursery for restoration projects.

Provided customer education on plant care and sustainable practices while supporting nursery operations. Managed plant health and nursery organization to maintain ecological fit and product readiness for sales.
