What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build on my museum education, collections research, and community-engagement experience in a role connecting collections, source communities, and public audiences.

I'm developing community-focused museum practice through work with the Ashmolean Museum, Pitt Rivers Museum, and the Museum Ethnographers Group. I support school visits, collections-based workshops, qualitative evaluation, and object handling while finding creative ways to strengthen educational resources and gallery experiences.

At the Pitt Rivers Museum, I conducted provenance research that identified the acquisition history of a photograph collection and corrected misidentifications of Southwestern Indigenous objects. I also digitized Beatrice Blackwood's 1920s fieldwork images and gained experience with GLAM CMS, DAMS, and Collections Online systems.

I've taught humanities and literacy in Brooklyn, designing historical, literary, and cultural curricula for 50+ KS3 students at a time. I adapt coursework for students with SEND, use creative writing to make learning engaging, and helped literacy students make substantial reading and writing progress.

My research, writing, and operational experience also includes coordinating conflicts at Quinn Emanuel, editing newsletters for The Prison Journalism Project, and supporting Vassar College's American Studies Programme. I'm completing an MSc in Visual, Material and Museum Anthropology at Oxford, where I research relationships between museum collections, source communities, and public audiences.
