At Enppi, I strengthened my hands-on knowledge of natural gas and oil treatment and processing, process simulation, process safety, and engineering design. My training included heat exchangers, tower internals, and process utilities.
At ETHYDCO, I observed utilities operations, including cooling towers, modern water treatment, steam, and air production. I also followed the ethylene production train using steam cracking and distillation towers.
At PETROBEL, I practiced drilling-fluid experiments to test physical and chemical properties and observed workover rig operations. My training at Alexandria Petroleum Company and Cairo Oil Refining Company covered refining processes including ADU, VRU, isomerization, reforming, spent-oil re-refining, and bitumen oxidation.
For my graduation project, I contributed to the design and economic, environmental, and safety analyses of a three-unit complex for carbon dioxide capture, green hydrogen production, and methanol production. As AIChE SU SC Vice President, I was responsible for overseeing projects, events, and members’ technical development.
