I am a dedicated Nautical Science Cadet with a solid foundation in vessel operations, safety compliance, and navigational watch. I focus on rigorous maintenance, clear lookout practices, and professional integrity to uphold the highest maritime safety standards.

In my Deck Cadet experience with Kenya Ports Authority, Mombasa, I conducted daily inspections of safety appliances to ensure full compliance and performed rigorous maintenance tasks to keep deck equipment reliable. I also executed safe navigational watch duties, supervised hazardous cargo operations while strictly adhering to safety codes, and monitored life-saving appliances for compliance with mandatory maritime law.

Technically, I am proficient in ECDIS and AIS operations, and I apply Bridge Resource Management to support safe decision-making on the bridge. I bring hands-on readiness through trainings including SASH (Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment awareness), BST Security Awareness Training, SAT, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, BST Elementary First Aid, and BST Personal Safety & Social Responsibility.
