I am a Marine/Mechanical Engineering trainee who completed a Bachelor of Technology in Marine Engineering at the Technical University of Mombasa, with hands-on training in marine diesel engines, propulsion machinery, boilers, HVAC, marine electrical machines and ship construction.
During attachments at Kenya Ports Authority I assisted with routine and corrective maintenance, engine-room watchkeeping, electrical installations, plumbing and HVAC work, and upkeep of machinery spaces, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
I am disciplined, a team player, respectful of rank, and motivated to advance to senior marine engineer roles, bringing welding, fabrication, AutoCAD, risk assessment and Microsoft Office skills to maritime engineering teams.
