At GBS metrology GmbH, I develop performance-optimized C++ software for optical 3D profilometers used to measure semiconductor surfaces. I implemented CUDA-accelerated algorithms and developed a vibration suppression algorithm, first prototyped in Python and then implemented in C++/CUDA.
For industrial document-imaging companies, I developed MicroOCR, an OCR engine for embedded and edge deployment that achieved over 99% character accuracy at under 20 ms per page on CPU. My earlier work includes C and C++ software for optical measurement at the Institute for Process Measurement and Sensor Technology – TU Ilmenau.
