Hailey Marshall

I am a dedicated social work student with a strong passion for mental health and crisis support. My journey in social work has been shaped by my commitment to helping individuals from diverse backgrounds navigate their mental health challenges. I believe in the power of empathy and active listening, which I have honed through my volunteer work and professional experiences.

Currently, I serve as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, where I provide immediate support to individuals in crisis. I utilize research-based safety assessment models to evaluate risks and ensure the safety of those I assist. Additionally, my role as a Hotline Specialist at HelpLine of Delaware & Morrow Counties allows me to apply best practices in suicide and self-harm intervention, further enhancing my skills in crisis management and resource navigation.

As I continue my education at the University of Cincinnati, I am eager to gain hands-on experience that will prepare me for a fulfilling career in social work. I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those I serve and look forward to opportunities that will allow me to grow both personally and professionally.
