At University of Colorado, I reviewed clinical cases to investigate the prognostic significance of ulcerated gastrointestinal stromal tumors under Dr. Martin McCarter. I used REDCap and Epic for research data review and presented a poster at the 2022 Academic Surgical Congress.
At University of Colorado / UCHealth, I collaborated with inpatient healthcare staff on a quality-improvement initiative focused on safety, care, and patient experience after discharge. I also evaluated disparities in online patient portal enrollment and presented findings at hospital medicine grand rounds.
My supervised clinical clerkships covered acute, inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and community care. At Peak Gastroenterology, I assisted teams with endoscopic procedures and supported sample and data collection for clinical trials.
