A remote iOS role where I can contribute beyond the code: I’m high-agency and see the product as a whole, from user and UX to architecture and delivery. Motivated by performance, modularization and scalable architecture in large apps. I’d like a team whose engineering culture (code reviews, testing) helps me keep growing and, when the opportunity comes, to take on technical leadership too.

What I'm looking for
iOS developer with 7+ years of experience (5+ in Swift) and an Apple Developer Academy alumnus (Apple’s 2-year iOS development program), focused on performance, architecture and modularization in large-scale apps. Fluent in English, experienced as a tech lead and mentor.
At Novibet, I work on the Social team’s network inside the app, maintaining and expanding a feature delivered before I joined. I implemented analytics for the area, introduced its first Swift Testing unit tests, and created generic components to reduce duplicated code and provide a starting point for a design system.
At F1RST Digital Services, I delivered iOS work for Santander’s business banking security and global products, including a reusable multifactor authentication module and a facial biometrics refactor with 100% unit test coverage. My work also includes technical documentation, architecture decisions, and supporting other developers; I taught Swift and iOS development at iOS Lab and focused my undergraduate thesis on code optimization and software performance.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Social team, owning the social network inside the Novibet app (single localized codebase serving multiple countries; daily English with the product team in Greece). Implemented the area's analytics from scratch, introduced its first Swift Testing unit tests, built generic components as a design-system base, and contributed to iOS onboarding docs and an AI workspace (Claude Code).
Santander's first Global business-banking team. Owned the iOS front of Global Position, a hybrid white-label home reusable across the group's countries, with the technical foundation aligned with the global platform team. Mapped other countries' integrations and contributed to global structural libraries and docs. Swift 6, SwiftUI, UIKit, Clean Architecture, 100% test coverage.
Customer Support and Security teams of Santander's business banking app (Santander Empresas). Owned the iOS front of the centralized MFA module (Security Challenge), now mandatory in every authenticated journey of the channel, and refactored the Facial Biometrics journeys, cutting code by 40% with no incidents. Tech lead (Multiplier) and Code Owner; 100% unit test coverage.
Taught Swift and iOS development (Xcode, Apple's HIG, App Store publishing) in online and in-person classes, from beginners to professionals switching from other languages. Redesigned the course syllabus with market-aligned topics, which became the school's reference, and created the teaching materials, hands-on exercises and a final project where students built an app end to end.
Apple's 2-year training program in native iOS development, following Apple's design and programming guidelines. Published 8 apps on the App Store across the full SDLC, using only Apple frameworks. Tech Lead on the six-month final project (Hortali), designed UI/UX with HIG-based prototypes and usability tests, and presented to Apple representatives, investors and partner companies.
Worked in IT and order operations, from order processing to issuing invoices and shipping. On my own initiative, built an internal Python tool that organized customer data so it was ready for invoicing and generated, from the order spreadsheet, a summary of what would ship in the selected period.
