At Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, I lead design for member-facing products across web and mobile, supporting more than 5M members. I lead a team of four designers and partner with product stakeholders, engineers, and content teams.
I delivered UX for a high-traffic member portal spanning claims, benefits, ID cards, and account management, simplifying complex workflows with clear navigation and interaction design.
I contributed to a BCBSM mobile app experience used by more than 500,000 Android users and represented by 70,000+ iOS ratings. Usability, accessibility, and visual-consistency improvements helped maintain its 4.7-star iOS and 4.5-star Android ratings.
I’ve developed design systems, standards, and a pattern library for web and mobile products. My UI-development background in HTML/CSS and Ionic, along with tools such as Figma and GitHub Copilot, supports close collaboration with engineering teams.
