What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a judicial internship with the United States District Court for the Southern District of California to apply my analytical, communication, and organizational skills while gaining practical experience in the federal judiciary and public service.

I’m a motivated San Diego State University student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. I’ve earned Dean’s List recognition and I’m known for academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement.

Through my relevant coursework in Criminal Law, Juvenile Justice, Ethics in Criminal Justice, and Law in Society, I’ve built a strong foundation for careful analysis and clear reasoning. I’m eager to apply my analytical, communication, and organizational skills in the federal judiciary.

Outside the classroom, I’ve strengthened my professional communication and problem-solving through roles that require accuracy and composure. As a server in a high-volume restaurant, I deliver exceptional customer service while prioritizing multiple responsibilities.

I also bring reliability and discretion from managing children’s daily care and safety as a Child Care Provider. Along with community service and leadership—like volunteering and serving as a secretary—I’m focused on gaining practical experience through a judicial internship with the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
