Dedicated philosophy student with experience in public service and advocacy.
What I'm looking for
I am a passionate philosophy student at UCLA, maintaining a GPA of 3.9 while actively engaging in various internships and extracurricular activities. My experience as a Judicial Intern at the Los Angeles Superior Courts allowed me to observe court cases and network with professionals in the judicial system, enhancing my understanding of legal processes. Additionally, my role as a Congressional Intern for Congresswoman Nanette Barragan provided me with the opportunity to draft policy memos and participate in community service events, further solidifying my commitment to public service.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I have honed my leadership and communication skills through my involvement in Model United Nations, where I serve as a Senior Staffer - Chair. This role has allowed me to develop critical thinking and event planning skills while fostering a collaborative environment for debate. My work with Amnesty International has also deepened my advocacy efforts, as I write letters to promote humanitarian issues and engage in meaningful discussions. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences in a role that allows me to contribute to impactful projects and initiatives.
