What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my legal advisory, policy research, and transnational crime analysis experience in work involving legal matters, crime analysis, content moderation and online abuse compliance, or research-driven policy outcomes.

I've researched organized crime markets for the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime, examining gang activity, political assassinations, human trafficking, narcotics smuggling, and wildlife crime across East and Southern Africa.

My work has informed law-enforcement interventions and international policy research, including gang-territory mapping in Nelson Mandela Bay, trafficking research across the Indian Ocean Islands, and published contributions to Give Us More Guns. I use OSINT, field research, qualitative interviews, data analysis, and policy writing to investigate criminal networks and illicit markets.

As an independent legal consultant, I draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and lease agreements while advising clients on employment law, compliance, contractual risk, and complex legal questions. I've resolved civil and labour disputes through mediation, negotiation, and legal strategy with a 100% resolution success rate to date.

I've also taught criminology and law at IIE Varsity College, developing undergraduate modules and mentoring students in research methodology, academic writing, and career pathways. My experience spans South African and U.S. legal procedures, including remote client intake, case documentation, and Lawmatics CRM.
