What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a cybersecurity role where I can build automated, threat-focused detection with Splunk SIEM/SOAR, perform proactive threat hunting, and strengthen SOC-style monitoring and incident workflows in a team that values documentation and process.

I’m a junior Information Security and Cybersecurity Analyst with an adversarial mindset, focused on proactive defense, threat hunting, and building detection pipelines that hold up in real-world conditions. I like to secure complex systems by mixing offensive tradecraft with defensive precision.

In my IBM internship, I developed an automated web vulnerability scanner to identify OWASP Top 10 issues for agriculture portals, then documented findings with remediation guidance and secure coding recommendations. I also built a DDoS mitigation system to detect suspicious traffic patterns and reduce distributed denial-of-service attacks against critical web endpoints.

I’m deliberate about SOC-style reliability: I completed security monitoring and incident analysis tasks through Deloitte Australia’s Cyber Job Simulation (Forage), including alert triage, documentation, and incident response reporting. I bring that same process discipline into my projects—tight evidence tracking, clear findings, and security-focused communication that other teams can act on.

My TryHackMe Top 1% performance and CTF wins reflect how I think under pressure, but my goal is practical impact: automated, threat-focused detection using SIEM/SOAR, resilient infrastructure, and clear documentation that teams can trust. I regularly validate concepts in CTFs, build working tools, and refine my detection and response approach based on real outcomes.
