At Datavant, I work on production services for healthcare data ingestion, patient-record linkage, tokenization, and clinical-record processing. I improved event throughput from about 18K to 82K per hour and reduced peak CPU usage by 42% by moving expensive synchronous work into asynchronous workers.
I’ve also reworked clinical-record processing and integration workflows, cutting a large-workload processing time from about 11 minutes to 2.5 minutes. Since 2023/2024, I’ve worked on LLM-assisted clinical workflows, improving structured-field extraction from approximately 89% to 96% while routing lower-confidence outputs to human reviewers.
Before Datavant, I built healthcare platform services at Cedar Gate Technologies and ZeOmega, supporting claims, population health, care management, and value-based care workflows. I also mentor four engineers at Datavant and contribute to design, reliability, and production readiness.
