Owned nearly all development of a healthcare application using CQRS and event storage to import healthcare data and calculate clinical quality measures and risk factors. Built a LiveView/Phoenix/Elixir/Postgres system with extensive test coverage capable of processing 1.3M+ claims in ~4 hours with linear scalability.

Joined the trading team to build a new team responsible for maintaining and scaling the platform in Brazil. Role ended due to redundancy from layoffs tied to the company’s Chapter 11 financial restructuring.

Served as technical lead and manager for 6 engineers across 5 squads in the Hardware tribe, maintaining core backend logic for payment terminals and printers. Rebuilt the backend team and technical culture, migrated legacy from Erlang to Elixir, created a device management dashboard, and increased code coverage from ~10% to ~80% while reducing technical debt.

Helped maintain an on-premises platform and led migration from legacy bash scripts for single-container releases to a multi-container Kubernetes approach. Reduced the release gap between internal and on-premises deployments, enabling easier support and customization (company was sold one month after joining).

Developed an ERP integration and supported a broader digitalization effort within Klöckner.i. Coached developers and helped transition from Ruby to Elixir while working to reduce microservice complexity.

Built content processing capabilities in the ContentID team using CQRS and event sourcing to process, fingerprint, and compare uploaded content. Later worked on Royalties and Reporting with Spark to calculate royalties and generate reports for partners.

Earned a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of São Paulo. The program is noted as the first Latin American institution in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (251–300 bracket).
