Georgia Wetherholt
@georgiawetherholt
I build scalable test automation and infrastructure for reliable firmware and IoT validation.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Test Infrastructure Engineer focused on turning complex validation workflows into fast, repeatable, hands-off automation. I design end-to-end test systems that improve reliability, shorten feedback loops, and make quality measurable across teams.
At Microsoft, I built and scaled a firmware validation test automation framework using PowerShell and C, cutting end-to-end testing from weeks of manual effort to a 45-minute automated workflow used across multiple test environments. I also architected remote UEFI testing infrastructure for cross-platform (Windows and Linux) automation with zero manual intervention.
I strengthen execution with visibility and feedback: I developed quality metrics dashboards with automated pass/fail analysis and Power BI reporting to track test results, coverage trends, and release readiness. I created reusable debugging and analysis tools in C#, PowerShell, and Python to boost developer productivity and reduce ongoing test infrastructure maintenance.
I’ve also owned quality for high-stakes releases, coordinating cross-platform validation under tight timelines for Surface Duo 2 (Android) commercial launch. In parallel, I build cloud-edge IoT and observability-focused systems—implementing CI/CD, metrics, and robust deployment workflows—so teams can ship with confidence.

Red Barn Robotics
Jul 2025 - Nov 2025 (4 months)
Managed Docker Compose deployments with 15+ containerized services, resolving networking and dependency issues while integrating with CI/CD. Designed real-time monitoring dashboards with telemetry and error handling, and contributed to automated testing infrastructure with rollback on deployment failure.
Designed and built a scalable firmware test automation framework in PowerShell and C, cutting end-to-end testing from weeks of manual effort to a hands-off 45-minute workflow across multiple environments. Built remote UEFI validation infrastructure, automated pass/fail analytics with Power BI dashboards, and led end-to-end quality for the Surface Duo 2 Android commercial launch.
Performed integration testing on radar hardware in an anechoic chamber, running continuous release validation with automated pass/fail criteria. Developed MATLAB scripts to automate testing of new firmware features, improving regression detection and validation efficiency.
