Gaurav Sakhare

I’m a cybersecurity graduate passionate about Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), information security, and data privacy, with a strong drive to succeed and a careful, detail-oriented approach. I bring a background in forensic science alongside an MSc in Cybersecurity, plus certifications covering DPDP/data protection, networking, and cyber security fundamentals.

Through a virtual internship with Zscaler and my hands-on learning of security frameworks like ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, I’ve built a foundation in risk assessment and security/compliance thinking. I also apply practical technical skills—such as Wireshark, Nmap, Windows/Linux log analysis, and a Python (Scikit-learn) phishing email detection project—to help strengthen organizational security and compliance.
