What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an internship placement where I can apply practical social work skills, strengthen my professional competence, and help empower communities through effective service delivery, support initiatives, and meaningful program collaboration.

I’m a motivated Social Work student from the Women’s University in Africa, focused on practical social welfare and development work. I bring strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and I’m eager to apply my theoretical knowledge in real community settings.

During my internship at the Pamuhacha HIV/AIDS Prevention Project (July 2024–July 2025), I supported HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns and community outreach, promoting treatment adherence and stigma reduction. I conducted home visits, provided psychosocial support, facilitated groups, and strengthened peer support networks, while supporting data collection, reporting, and client referrals to improve project evaluation and access to essential services.
