What I'm looking for

I want a HIPAA-compliant HIM or client-review role where I can ensure data integrity, verify records, and resolve deficiencies efficiently—using OnBase/EMR tools—while supporting accurate, timely patient and Veteran documentation.

I work as an HIM Analyst and Client Review Specialist, focused on data integrity, compliance, and information accuracy. I verify the accuracy and completeness of records received from external sources to protect patient health information and ensure trustworthy documentation.

In my recent role, I analyze healthcare documents, validate medical records, and update record systems by identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies. I’ve also managed multiple database tasks and projects at once to keep remote operations running smoothly and maintain workflow consistency for Veteran claims.

Across OnBase, 3M 360 Encompass, Power BI Report Server, and Alscripts MRM, I analyze physician dispositions, procedure notes, and provider notes to support digital filing accuracy. I communicate with coders and collaborate with physicians and physician facilitators to remove holds and complete deficiencies correctly and on time.

Earlier, as an HIM Indexing Specialist and Medical Assistant, I stored, retrieved, and processed patient data in electronic medical record systems, organizing and scanning 1,000+ medical records weekly.
