What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role administering secure enterprise infrastructure—VMware, network security, and Veeam backup/DR—with ISO 27001-aligned policy work, change management, and stakeholder impact. Remote or global/Asia-Pacific collaboration is ideal.

I’m a senior IT professional with 14+ years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure across government and international organisations. I lead deployments and ongoing administration of critical systems, combining VMware virtualisation, network security, and reliable backup/DR practices.

In my current role with UNCTAD’s ASYCUDA Programme, I support infrastructure across 15 Pacific customs administrations, configuring and maintaining VMware ESXi clusters and secure network segmentation using FortiGate firewalls. I administer Veeam-based backup systems, validate RTO/RPO targets through restore testing, monitor performance with PRTG and vCenter, and manage incident response and resolution.

I’ve also driven major platform outcomes—migrating Fiji’s FMIS from version 2.0 to 4.0 with zero data loss, rolling out Questica Budget System for national budget estimates, and designing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to reduce recovery time objectives. Across multiple ministries, I author and enforce whole-of-government IT policies aligned with ISO 27001, partnering with stakeholders through change management, audits, and vendor coordination.
