Technology leader bridging research, engineering and product to build AI software, grow teams, and deliver meaningful customer outcomes.
What I'm looking for
I’m a technology leader who bridges research, engineering, and product to deliver complex software—especially AI-enabled medical imaging education, neurosurgery releases, and research-to-production platforms. Most recently as Director of Technology at DetectedX, I led the technology function across engineering, product, and customer-facing technical initiatives, taking a multidisciplinary team through the final stages of a major platform release.
I’ve also built and scaled engineering teams and modern engineering practices: establishing Garvan’s first Software Engineering Team in their Data Science Platform, introducing containerisation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and Kubernetes, and helping productionise ML software for national-scale genomics infrastructure. I’m now open to senior engineering and engineering leadership roles where I can create long-term impact by building high-quality software, growing teams, and delivering products that solve meaningful customer problems—preferably remote-first or hybrid across Sydney, Newcastle, and the Central Coast.
