What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead backend engineering—designing scalable REST APIs, optimizing databases, and deploying on AWS—within an Agile team that values clean architecture, performance, and production-quality code.

I’m an experienced Python Developer and Lead Python Engineer focused on backend development, scalable web applications, and clean architecture. I’ve designed scalable backend architecture for enterprise applications, developing REST APIs with Django and FastAPI, and building microservices-based systems. I also implement asynchronous processing with Celery and improve performance with Redis caching and PostgreSQL optimization.

Through roles at Zagreb Analytics Group, BluePeak Technologies, and SmartCore Solutions, I’ve built and maintained backend logic using Django and Flask, integrated third-party APIs, and resolved production issues and bugs. I enjoy working in Agile teams, deploying using AWS and Docker, and leading backend work by reviewing code quality and supporting production-ready delivery.
