I am a Dual Diagnosis Recovery Coordinator with over 2 years of experience supporting individuals affected by substance misuse, mental health conditions, and homelessness. I deliver person-centred interventions focused on harm reduction, relapse prevention, and recovery planning.
In my current role at CGL Newham Rise, I manage a complex caseload by conducting comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, safeguarding interventions, and tailored support plans. I provide overdose prevention and relapse prevention advice, including specialised support for individuals involved in Chemsex-related substance misuse, while maintaining accurate case records, care notes, and reports in line with organisational policies.
I also work closely with mental health services, housing teams, probation services, healthcare professionals, and social services to ensure coordinated care. Earlier in my career, I developed strong people leadership and safety-focused operations experience as a construction site manager and retail manager, and I strengthened my direct support practice through mental health support work in supported living settings.
