Fernando Erler
@fernandoerler
I build predictive analytics pipelines and real-time dashboards that improve policy, workforce, and operational decisions.
What I'm looking for
I've delivered data-driven policy and workforce solutions at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, including a real-time COVID-19 dashboard tracking more than 6,000 officers. I contributed the data structure, ingestion logic, and interface design while analyzing workforce, compensation, and demographic data.
I implemented more than 50 policy instruments annually through data-driven workflows, identified workflow gaps, and presented analytical insights and policy recommendations to C-suite and Secretary-level leaders.
Previously, I managed core HR functions for a 200+ employee Maryland state agency and produced workforce analysis that informed leadership decisions. In the U.S. Marine Corps, I built predictive analytics pipelines, automated data ingestion and validation, and designed real-time dashboards that replaced manual reporting across recruiting regions.
I'm a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran completing an M.S. in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University. I bring hands-on experience in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, forecasting, machine learning, and data platforms, along with English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluency.
