What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue practice nursing with strong IPC responsibility—supporting safe, CQC-aligned care. I want a role where I can deliver evidence-based consultations, lead audits and staff training, and keep teaching and mentoring others.

I am an NMC-registered Nurse with 10 years of clinical experience across primary and secondary care. I currently work as a Practice Nurse and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Lead for eight years in London, bringing evidence-based clinical assessment and decision-making to every appointment.

I conduct comprehensive annual health assessments and chronic disease management for conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes, learning disability and homelessness, alongside health surveillance, patient monitoring, and immunisations. I’m skilled in interpreting and reviewing medical records, producing consistent and accurate clinical documentation, and writing evidence-based clinical reports and care plans.

I’m confident in remote and telephone consultations, including triage, test result interpretation, patient education, and referral coordination. I also assess and manage NHS Health Checks by evaluating cardiovascular risk, lifestyle factors, and functional capacity—communicating findings sensitively and signposting appropriately.

As IPC Lead across a Primary Care Network of five GP practices, I develop IPC policy, run audit cycles, deliver staff training, manage outbreaks, and support CQC compliance. I’m passionate about teaching and mentoring—supporting trainee practice nurses and translating IPC/CQC preventative measure/protocols/guidelines into clear, actionable guidance for both non-clinical and clinical teams.
