Faizan Mustafa

I am a full-stack software engineer focused on building robust web applications and AI-enabled systems using the MERN stack and Python. I combine backend expertise in FastAPI and Node.js with React-driven frontend development to deliver end-to-end solutions.

My recent work includes engineering a multi-role RBAC agri-tech platform integrating GPT-4 and remote sensing APIs, and developing interactive dashboards with Recharts and Leaflet.js to drive data-informed decisions. I emphasize secure authentication, role-based access, and performant API design.

I also design and implement AI/ML systems: a local-first RAG pipeline with LlamaIndex and Ollama to enable private, offline querying, and a fraud-detection pipeline using Random Forests with SMOTE, Scikit-learn, and Pandas to improve minority-class recall. I prioritize reliability, reproducible preprocessing, and minimizing model hallucination.

I document architecture, streamline developer onboarding, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and team velocity. I am driven to build impactful products that blend web engineering and machine learning to solve real-world problems.
