Backend engineer working on a large-scale multi-tenant payment platform. Delivered payment provider integrations, helping expand payment capabilities across multiple markets. Co-designed and built a reconciliation service from scratch to automate transaction matching and improve operational efficiency. Contributed to core payment infrastructure and platform evolution.

Developed Golang microservices for the back-office platform of a high-load forex broker serving 1M+ active clients globally. Integrated Camunda as a workflow engine to automate withdrawal approvals, replacing hardcoded rules with visual BPMN. Rewrote a user activity reporting service from Python to Golang. Awarded Top Performer in Q2 2022.

Co-led a small engineering team (4 engineers, 2 tech leads) building a new cloud platform from scratch. Contributed to architecture and tech-stack decisions, including selecting a distributed database. Bootstrapped the initial Golang microservices and established core patterns for the engineering team.

Rewrote a core taxi pricing service from Ruby to Golang as part of a microservices migration from a monolith at a global ride-hailing company. Built a real-time pricing engine combining zone-based rates with demand-driven surge to balance driver supply. Stack: Golang, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS.

Joined as a C++ engineer and moved to Golang as the platform expanded its microservices stack at an online trading broker. Contributed to a foundational C++ library integrating services with the RabbitMQ data bus. Built a real-time pricing service plus economic-calendar, social-trading and gamification services. Stack: Golang, C++, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ.

Designed, developed and maintained C++ backend services. Built a statistical analysis service collecting and preprocessing user-behaviour data. Rewrote a service for collecting cross-social-network user relationships. Wrote a PHP client-code generator from the server API, backends for several web games, and daemon-monitoring for Linux/FreeBSD servers. Stack: C++, MySQL, Linux.

Provided remote technical maintenance for a network of self-service terminals and designed, developed, and maintained a CMS for a payment system. Improved reliability of terminal operations through ongoing support and upkeep.

Designed, developed, tested and maintained billing software for self-service payment terminals. Built client-server software connecting terminals to the main server. Wrote hardware libraries (banknote validators, POS printers, barcode scanners), technical-support tooling, and automation for the accounting department. Stack: C++, PHP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Linux.

Earned a master's degree in computer science at Altay State Technical University in Barnaul from 1999 to 2004.
