What I'm looking for

I'm a quantitative biologist with a background in computational biology, bioinformatics, and mathematical modelling. I'm looking for flexible, remote, part-time or project-based work alongside my research. I enjoy data analysis, solving interesting problems, and learning new things. I'm happy to collaborate on projects both within and beyond biology.

At Genomics & Big Data Lab, Sejong University, I work on plant genomics, transcriptomics, and multi-omics analysis. My current research includes bulk RNA-seq and single-nucleus RNA-seq analysis for plant tissues, alongside quantitative plant phenotyping.

At the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Kadir Has University, I worked on integrating spatial transcriptomics and single-cell RNA-seq data. I also applied machine learning to gene expression–growth relationships and analyzed high-dimensional biological data statistically.

My research has also included mathematical modelling of biological systems. My Ph.D. dissertation at Dongguk University modeled multicellular biosystem dynamics, focusing on avascular solid-tumor growth in the presence of therapies.

I’m interested in quantitative and computational biology, including genomics, systems biology, and computational ecology. My work draws on Python, R, and MATLAB, as well as bioinformatics and computational workflows.
