Worked on comparative genomics and RNA editing analysis in non-model trypanosomatids, focusing on de novo genome assembly, genome annotation, and comparative interpretation of genomic features. Performed bioinformatic analysis using Python, R, and Bash.

Worked on evolutionary biology, ecology, and molecular genetics projects combining wet-lab research with computational analysis. Performed DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, and analyzed sequence data in evolutionary and ecological contexts.
