What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead accountable, multi-stakeholder program delivery—combining policy and governance, M&E, and communications—to strengthen institutional systems and gender/safeguarding outcomes. I want work where strategic reporting and practical implementation truly connect.

I’m a versatile programs and project delivery professional with 10+ years’ experience spanning project/program management, policy and governance, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring & evaluation across government, donor, and civil society settings in West Africa. I’m comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels—designing frameworks and reporting to senior leadership while also managing day-to-day budgets, vendors, and field delivery.

In my current role as Senior Research & Communications Officer at the Ghana Boundary Commission, I coordinate multi-stakeholder programmes across 50+ border communities, government agencies, and international partners. I develop project budgets, reconcile expenditure, review vendor payments, monitor implementation against plan, and produce reporting that supports delivery decisions and donor accountability. I also manage donor-funded programmes (ECOWAS, GNPC, GIZ) reaching 100,000+ residents, ensuring deliverables meet funder scope, quality, visibility, and schedule.

I build institutional systems as well as partnerships. I’ve co-drafted 20+ MoUs, communiqués, and operational frameworks for cross-border Joint Technical Committees across Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Togo, and I’ve planned and delivered 12+ multi-country workshops for 30+ National Boundary Commissions—managing logistics, budgets, and participant coordination. I also led the ground-up establishment of the Commission’s Research Department and knowledge library, defining scope and systems and building a 50+ document institutional archive.

Beyond delivery and research, I drive governance and inclusion. As Acting Gender Adviser (additional role), I lead institution-wide rollout of gender equity and safeguarding frameworks, authoring the Commission’s Gender Policy and Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy from design through implementation, and delivering a capacity-building programme for 30+ staff that achieved a tracked 50% increase in female participation. Earlier, I strengthened cross-country coordination and accountability at the Africa TransitionalJustice Legacy Fund and managed communications and governance reform campaigns at the Institute for Democratic Governance, including improved partner visibility and more efficient civic forum coordination.
