What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue creating student-centered Korean language and cross-cultural learning experiences, including curriculum design, specialized instruction, textbook development, and training programs for diverse learners and professionals.

I'm teaching Korean at Hills Learning in New York, where I develop customized curricula and instructional materials for learners across ages, ethnicities, and proficiency levels. I've published Speedy Korean: Fast & Solid for Real Life and History of Korea: From Kingdoms to K-Culture.

At Carrot Global, I created language, cross-cultural, and leadership programs for Korean government employees and major corporations including Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and Hanwha. I secured corporate contracts through competitive presentations, consulted HRD teams on training design, founded a language school for Hanwha employees' children, and was named Exemplary Employee of the Year in 2022.

My background also includes operations management, Korean-to-English patent translation, TESOL certification, and presenting on Korean educational culture at the Harvard Graduate School of Education Conference.
