Esther Mungai

I am a compassionate social worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Administration (Second Class Upper) from Mount Kenya University.

I have hands-on experience in child protection, case management, counselling, placement and foster care from work with a subcounty children office and volunteer roles. I also supported follow-ups on adoption applications and sensitive cases including defilement and abandonment.

Additionally, I served as an enumeration officer supporting data collection, survey administration, field verification, data analysis, monitoring and reporting, and awareness training in county settings. My strengths include communication, problem solving, leadership, time management, adaptability and technical proficiency.

I am motivated to join a mission-driven team where I can apply my advocacy and casework skills, contribute to child welfare programs, and continue learning through hands-on practice and mentorship.
