Esther Balogun

I’m a Certified Data Analyst and a General Microbiology graduate, and I enjoy working with data that improves decisions in real settings. I’m open to learning and working in different fields, and I aim to work with expertise to broaden my knowledge and gain more experience.

In laboratory experience, I processed tuberculosis samples using genexpert, supported laboratory scientists with sample processing, and used a microscope to identify and classify microorganisms. I documented and collected patient data during covid-19 and kept accurate databases of samples collected and stored in the laboratory.

I’ve also strengthened my research background through Research Microbiology work, including using assay kits and applying microbiology and haematology expertise to determine previous exposure to West Nile virus in blood samples. Alongside this, I developed job-relevant analytics capability through Data Analytics training and Power BI/visualization job simulations.
