Samuel Olawale

I’m a Microbiology graduate with a strong interest in data analytics and how data can be used to improve decision-making in organisations. Through my training and practical experience, I’ve developed hands-on skills in analysing and interpreting data using tools such as Excel, STATA, R, and Power BI. I’m now looking to build on this foundation by pursuing further study in Information Technology Management and Data Analytics, so I can apply my analytical skills to solve real-world problems.

In my volunteer internship at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), I assisted with data collection and organisation for research work, supported basic data analysis, and maintained accurate records. I’ve also strengthened my discipline with laboratory roles—carrying out laboratory procedures, recording and managing laboratory data accurately, and ensuring safety and quality standards while supporting data recording and report preparation. I enjoy working closely with teams to ensure documentation is precise and usable.
