I am a Lecturer and institutional leader in Political Sciences and International Studies with an M.A. in Peace and Security Studies (Very Great Distinction) and over twelve years of continuous academic service at Bahir Dar University.
My expertise blends rigorous academic research, curriculum development, strategic departmental governance (4.5 years as Department Chair/Head), and applied consulting on conflict resolution for organizations such as USAID and Dexis. I have led grant-funded research on environmental security, resource conflict, and drug-related crime patterns and published peer-reviewed work on gender, peace, and development.
