What I'm looking for

I’m looking for backend work where I can own core services in microservices, improve performance with caching and search, and ship fast. I want a team that values pragmatic engineering and strong legacy-code ownership.

I’m a Backend Engineer with 6+ years of production experience in Node.js and Python ecosystems. I’ve led backend work for a large social platform, where I shipped reliably as the sole backend developer.

I focus on results over overengineering, especially when dealing with legacy code. I rewrote database query logic to increase concurrent user capacity from 20 to 400 (20x), introduced Redis from scratch with caching and streams to reduce DB load, and integrated Manticore Search for full-text search across the platform.

Before that, I worked on commercial e-commerce and fintech projects, including marketplace and payment integrations. I also built supporting backend capabilities like file storage using GridFS and production-to-product analytics via Power BI dashboards.
