At Memorial Hermann Health System, I serve as acting Network VoIP Architect and maintain routing and switching across a hybrid Aruba/Cisco LAN. I review proposed network solutions and run proactive maintenance across Cisco Call Manager clusters and collaboration systems.
I replaced BackBox with Nautobot, saving $200k per year in licensing costs while maintaining similar operational capabilities. I also automated configuration backups and firmware upgrades across 250 Cisco routers and voice gateways, integrating the process with ServiceNow change tickets and reducing upgrade cycles from months to days.
For the rollout of thousands of EPIC endpoints, I developed Python provisioning scripts that validated pilot programs against production systems. I also delivered Jabber profiles and implemented Cisco Expressway MRA for the enterprise work-from-home initiative.
Previously, at IT Works / Meriplex Communications, I designed and maintained network, firewall, and VoIP systems for managed-service clients. My work included redundant Cisco switching for ConocoPhillips’ Australia Pacific LNG operation and network redesigns, migrations, and integrations for clients including Susman Godfrey, Blue Bell Creameries, and Spirit of Texas Bank.
