What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead secure, resilient, standardized enterprise networks in healthcare—owning multi-vendor design, L3/L4 escalation, automation, and incident response while mentoring teams to reduce downtime and delivery risk.

I’m a senior network engineer with 20+ years of healthcare IT experience and 17 years focused on enterprise networking. I design, deploy, and support large-scale, mission-critical networks across multi-hospital environments, prioritizing uptime, security, and operational consistency.

In leadership roles, I’ve directed regional teams (up to 8 engineers) and delivered L3/L4 nationwide escalation support across Cisco, Extreme, Avaya, Fortinet, and Palo Alto platforms. I standardize configurations to reduce change-related errors, lead incident response through RCA and post-incident reviews, and improve clinical application performance using routing and QoS (OSPF, BGP, QoS).

I bring deep hands-on expertise spanning routing & switching, firewall/security, wireless, and SD-WAN—plus strong automation using Python/VB scripting and Ansible. Whether I’m executing greenfield site deployments, modernizing Layer 2/3 designs, or migrating monitoring from SNMP v2c to v3, my focus is minimizing operational risk while accelerating project delivery.
