I’m a result-oriented, resilient Safety Officer who brings technical know-how to bear with little supervision. I’m reliable, resourceful, and energetic, with a strong focus on safety compliance and practical risk reduction.

In my recent role as an Assistant Health and Safety Officer at Lavajet Company, I compiled safety programs, practiced safe working techniques, and implemented and maintained health and safety standards. I also conducted regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques and maintained compliance with all safety regulations.

Earlier, as a Ministry of Agriculture Safety Officer (Ondo State), I supported the development of OHS policies and programs, advised on safety-related topics, and conducted risk assessment with enforce preventative measures. I reviewed and updated existing policies according to legislation, initiated and organized OHS training, inspected premises for non-conformity (e.g., not using protective equipment), and oversaw installations, maintenance, and disposal of substances.

I also served as a Safety Officer at Micheal Okpara University, where I stopped unsafe acts or processes, recorded and investigated incidents to determine causes, and handled worker’s compensation claims. I prepared reports, maintained relevant registers, and documented staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports for management—supported by NEBOSH and HSE certifications.
