At Certificadora Mexicana Internacional (CMI), I inspect products against Official Mexican Standards and review audit files for accuracy and completeness before they go to accrediting authorities. I also serve as an ema technical expert for inspection activities.
I wrote CMI's certification manuals for NMX-R-025-SCFI-2015 and NOM-251-SE-2025, then validated them with staff. I also built the quality management system documentation and handle audits and nonconformities.
At Secretaría de Economía, I led the development and updating of two Mexican technical standards that remain officially published and in force. I also took part in FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius technical committees and working groups.
I'm a native Mexican Spanish speaker with strong English and hands-on experience using AI models, including Claude, to research and analyze technical and regulatory information. I evaluate work against defined criteria, ask precise questions to verify evidence, and write up findings clearly.
